This antique looking pincushion looks great made from stained reproduction colonial fabric, mounted on a vintage wooden spool. Hanging from it is a sweet miniature strawberry topped with green homespun and a vintage button. Trim it with lace, and two old buttons pinned with a rusty safety pin for a great primitive touch. Measures 9" tall.

These primitive kitties are made from worn painted muslin and feature pinched noses, whiskers, and hand stitched or button eyes. The tall brown cat shown in the back measures 12.5" tall, the sitting black kitty shown in the basket measures 9.5" tall, and the kitty laying down measures 7.5" tall, and 12" wide not including the tail. You get all three primitive kitty patterns, plus directions for their rag balls! Pattern also includes close up photos of all three cats.

An old doorknob is recycled to serve as a base for this vintage style pin cushion.  The cushion is shaped as a bird; and would look great made from any reproduction vintage fabric.  For the final touches, it's stained and baked for a time worn look; and a grubby cheese cloth bow is tied around the base.  Measures approximately 4" tall when finished.
