Rags-n-Tags is home to the original primitive bottle caps! This art of lacquer or resin filled bottle caps has grown leaps and bounds since I first started making them back in 2002... you can be rest assured that I have perfected the craft over the years, and my bottle caps are super clear with a rock hard filling (no dents, scratches, or blurry images like you would get with other imitation bottle caps). Each one is carefully handmade with a five step process that takes up to four days; and features an original artist image or vintage photo insert, with a hard clear lacquer filling. I offer finishing for free, or order them plain to use your own creativity! And as always, Free Shipping on all bottle caps!

Choose to have your caps made into an ornament (with a rusty wire hanger), a magnet (with a magnet back for use on your fridge or office), a pin (with a pin back to pin on your shirt, doll, pin cushion, and more), drilled (formally called "tag": with a hole drilled though the top to use as a necklace for your dolls, as an ornament, or a tag), mounted onto a prim tag (the cap will be glued to a 3.25"x1.625" walnut stained tag for hanging on your primitives, gifts, and more), or your caps can be left plain (to use in your scrapbooks or collages). If you would like more ideas on how to use these caps, visit my Ideas page!
